1. Check your eligibility with the Texas Medical Board.
2. Gather all of the required information, or register with the Federation of State Medical Boards to do it for you.3. Get fingerprinted.
4. Take the Jurisprudence Examination.
5. Call the Texas Department of Public Safety to get an application for your DPS number.
7. Activate your medical license.
8. Be prepared to pay more than $2,350 (cost in 2008) by the time this is all done!
